I am a PADI Staff Instructor and travelling from place to place comes with the territory, sometimes to remote areas of the world. Usually I can bank on a dive centre I work for having most of the material but too often they do not. A copy on my hard drive would save a lot of hassle!

I agree with Turtlediving, just make it all online and for the few that don’t have internet connection give the option to send a DVD or even a book out. But as Nuria is saying they really should remove all the plastic.

I believe this is the way forward and I really hope PADI is serious enough about the environment.

To reduce the plastic packaging is needed if PADI is still agree with Project Aware. Why not? The important is inside the pack, and PADI is offering on-line courses.

If it was digital uw photo, it might be because this is one of the newer specialities PADI made. I’m not sure, and have not see this small case, just a thought.
